Tellurian provides Virtual Internet Hosting, which means that we operate your Internet domain on our servers. We will maintain a number of "virtual servers" on your behalf. We maintain a web server to send your pages across the internet; a mail server to act as your "email post office"; an FTP server to provide a repository for your public files; and a DNS server so that your domain name is available on the Internet. You administer these services yourself, across the Internet.
For administration purposes, you need to have separate internet access. You can obtain that access through any ISP, although a rebel personal subscription (http://www.rebel.net.au/prices.html) would be ideal.

In addition you must register your own domain name. There are various registration authorities, and the particular one which you need to use, as well as the costs for registration, depend entirely on your needs. You are responsible for all costs involved with registering your domain name, however we will provide all required assistance to help you complete this necessary task.
Our standard terms and conditions prohibit you from using our facilities to commit any illegal or obnoxious acts. You are expected to know what is not permissible, but as indications only, you may not maintain an illegal archives of copyrighted software, nor may you send unsolicited junk email, nor use our facilities to attack any other network service.
